Introduction:
"Onboarding" refers to the processes in which Retailers are integrated into the PAYWORLD. It includes activities that allow new retailers to complete an initial information, documentation and verification process, as well as learn about the PAYWORLD and its services, structure, culture, vision, mission and values.
Once the onboarding process is completed then the shop registered with PAYWORLD becomes a PAYWORLD Retailer.
A Retailer can be on boarded to PAYWORLD via different channels - FieldX Application, Distributor FieldX Application, Agent Panel, Directly Sign Up through our PAYWORLD website / mobile app and social networking sites via support of our customer care.
Documents Checklist before proceeding to onboarding process:

Onboarding Steps divided into 4 parts:

Step: - 1 - Lead generation:

- Verify retailer’s Mobile Number and Email ID via OTP.

Step: - 2 - Minimum KYC:


Enter Basic details i.e., Gender, DOB, PAN number, Business Name, Business type, Business category and confirm Business location. *But make sure to confirm location from retailer office/shop address only.
Check the address once, enter shop/floor number, select area and click on ‘confirm’.

Step: - 3 - Add Bank Details:

- Upload cancelled cheque or manually enter the bank details. *But make sure that Beneficiary name must match with the PAN Name.
- After successful verification of Bank details, retailer account will be credited by one rupee and one time password will be send to the registered mobile number. Party/Retailer Code will be generated at this step.

Step: - 4 - Full KYC- Document KYC & Biometric E-KYC:


- On Full KYC page, retailer will be shown 5 different KYC modes to complete KYC.
- Out of these 5, retailer need to complete minimum 2 required KYC (Any one from Assisted video KYC, Digital KYC or Self Video KYC) and one from Biometric E-KYC (YBL or ICICI).
- KYC: - Retailer may choose any one out of 3 KYC Options for Document KYC
- Assisted Video KYC: - Get ready with stable Internet connection and connect with our representative for verification purpose on Video Customer Identification Process (V-CIP).
OR
- Digital KYC: - Capture retailer Documents - PAN, Aadhar and Selfie Image.
OR
- Self-Video KYC: - Record short Video with PAN, Aadhar and Display Code and wait for authentication via Video Customer Identification Process (V-CIP).
- E-KYC Bio Metric: - It’s a mandatory compliance and validated with Aadhar Biometric Data.
- Provider: - ICICI AND YBL
Digital KYC:
- Upload live Self-image, PAN Card and any address proof out of Aadhar Card, DL, Voter ID Card or Passport. *But make sure that address proof details i.e. Name and DOB must match with ID proof i.e. PAN Card.
- It will be authorized instantly in working hours.

Self-Video KYC:

Self-Video KYC steps via Video Customer Identification Process (V-CIP):
- Generates a link (Retailer will receive an SMS with a link to perform Self-Video KYC).
- Retailer need PAN card and Address proof handy for the process.
- Click on the link to start retailer Self Video KYC.
- If address proof is Aadhar Card then verification through Digi-locker.
(Please type in retailer Aadhar number and enter OTP received on retailer Aadhar registered Mobile Number)
- Initiate or record the video, during the video call, we'll ask retailer a few questions to verify retailer identity, live photo of retailer and Speak Display number and record the video as per process.
- Verification ID proof and address proof information provided by the Retailer.
- After everything is processed, we'll send a message to retailer registered Mobile Number letting retailer know if application was successful.
- Authorization Hours: - 10:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday except Public holidays.
Assisted Video KYC:
Complete KYC by Video Customer Identification Process (V-CIP):
- Generates a link (Retailer will receive an SMS with a link to perform Assisted Video KYC).
- Retailer need PAN card and Address proof handy for the process.
- Click on the link to start retailer Assisted Video KYC.
- If address proof is Aadhar Card then verification through Digi-locker.
(Please type in retailer Aadhar number and enter OTP received on retailer Aadhar registered Mobile Number)
- Verification of information provided by the Retailer.
(Retailer will be connected to a video call with our representative. During the video call, we'll ask retailer a few questions to verify retailer identity.
- We'll also take a live photo of retailer, PAN, Address proof.
(Our representative will explain how to place PAN card in front of the camera similarly for address proof).
- After everything is processed, we'll send a message to retailer registered Mobile Number letting retailer know if application was successful.
- Please note our representatives will be available from 10:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday except Public holidays.

Biometric E-KYC:

- For YBL E-KYC and ICICI E-KYC, Select device from the dropdown list, enter device number, Aadhar number and scan fingerprint, Submit the actions.
- Requirements: - Needs Biometric device for authentication.
- Listed device: - Morpho, Mantra, Startek, Secugen, 3M, PB-510.

Instructions before performing Onboarding process:
- Name and Documents details should be matched with ID proof (PAN).
- Office location should be captured in office area only.
- Do not capture ID proof & Address proof from digital devices like Phone, PC and Tablets. It may lead to rejections.
- Bank account beneficiary name must be match with PAN name.
- If retailer are selecting Aadhar Card as address proof in Video KYC. So make sure number should be linked with Aadhar card to perform Digi-Locker OTP validation, else choose any other address proof.
- Aadhar is not mandatory for Address proof, retailer may provide other documents as per checklist.
- Agent and Sales executive presence is mandatory in 1st visit to do hassle-free process.
- To carry original documents is mandatory as per KYC compliance.
- Agents can have access the FieldX links from SE/CH/BM’s.
- Entire process will only take 15 Minutes.
Dos and Don’ts while doing Onboarding process:

- Fill up all the Applicable details of retailer based out of Document.
- DOB should be matched with PAN Card.
- Business Name should be filled properly and Matched with Shop Proof (If Extracting Supported Document).
- PAN Number should be filled in Capital Letter.

- Retailer shop location should be captured in Shop area only.
- Business location should be filled properly and matched with Geo location.

- Don’t Capture the Geo Location at any location and filled the details manually.
- Inputter advising retailer to came at his own place or different from shop Location and start following the process.

- To attach Document in Bank details section is optional but, if retailer are validating with supported document such as Passbook / Cancelled Cheque / Statement should be visible properly.
- Account holder Name should be matched with the PAN Name.
- Bank Details must be filled carefully as per the Retailer's Bank Passbook.

- Do not capture Bank statement from digital devices like, Phone, PC, and tablets then it is unacceptable.
- Don’t Input wrong Bank details else details would be rejected.
- Ensure that Account holder Name should be matched with the PAN Name else it would be rejected.

- Out of 5 Different KYC, Ensure to complete 2 KYC to Move Further, these are KYC AND Biometric KYC.

and Capture the Fingerprint of retailer.

FAQs [Frequently Asked Questions] for Retailer Onboarding process:
1. Is it mandatory to onboard from shop or current working LIVE location?
Ans. Yes, while onboarding live location is getting captured with the range of 200 meters. We register as that is the business address.
2. Is it mandatory to provide Saving Account details under Bank information for onboarding process?
Ans. Yes, without saving account retailer can’t onboard in our portal it’s our mandatory check rule.
3. Is it mandatory to upload the cancel cheque copy for bank details verification?
Ans. No as of now, upload cancel cheque copy is optional.
4. Is there any validation charges for Bank details verification?
Ans. Yes, validation charges are applicable from provider and we are taking hit on these charges. There are no validation charges for first time Bank details verification. Rather, Retailer’s verified bank account will be credited by 1rs from PAYWORLD.
5. Will bank details get verified on an instant basis?
Ans. Yes, it will get verified on an instant basis.
6. What in case, if a retailer mentions a different name (PAN Name) in bank details will it proceed further or prompt retailer to enter the correct name?
Ans. It will display or prompt error message as “Name Mismatch” need to add bank details on the name of PAN holder name only.
7. Can we change or update the Date of Birth on later stage entered at the time of minimum KYC of onboarding?
Ans. Yes, one can change the Date of birth at the time of Documents upload (Digital KYC).
8. Will retailers get any password details on successfully registration?
Ans. Yes, one time Password send on registered mobile number on successfully completing the min KYC. Retailer’s need to login account and change login password.
9. Is it mandatory to complete all KYC for onboarding purpose?
Ans. Presently, One need to complete either any one out of 3 KYC’s i.e., assisted video KYC / Digital KYC / Self video KYC and any one out of 2 E-KYC i.e. ICICI BANK / YES BANK (Biometric KYC).
Note: Biometric E-KYC is mandatory to take AEPS and MR for the bank only!
10. Can we track the onboarding journey of retailers?
Ans. Yes, CCE can also monitor the same in onboarding leads.
11. Can we track or check for KYC status?
Ans. Yes, on CRM CCE can check the KYC status i.e. Rejected/Approved/Pending.
12. What all are the various channels of onboarding?
Ans. 1. WEBPOS / MPOS (Request).
2. Agent via FieldX application.
13. What all are the mandatory check or information required before proceed for onboarding steps?
Ans. Android compatible handset, ID proof (PAN), Address Proof, Saving Bank Account details, and Biometric device for EKYC.
14. What are the various TAT time of KYC verification?
Ans. Depends on KYC type.
15. Can Retailer perform Video KYC, if his Mobile number is not linked with Aadhar card?
Ans. No, Retailer cannot perform video KYC if his Aadhar number is not linked with his Mobile Number. Retailer may select any other address proof in such cases.
16. What needs to be done if there is no Aadhar number printed on back side of Aadhar card?
Ans. Retailer can do video KYC in such cases or he can also download the fresh Aadhar card from UIDAI site and upload in Digital KYC section.
17. Is it mandatory to have Shop for doing business with PAYWORLD?
Ans. Yes, retailer have to upload the outside or inside shop image for smooth onboarding.
NOTE: If customer don’t have Shop, we can take his request and share details with the Distributor or Sales executives for physical verification to get them onboard.
18. What in case, different DOB mentioned on ID proof (PAN) and Address proof (Aadhar / DL / Passport / Voter ID)?
Ans. Verification will be incomplete one has to produce documents with the same Date of Birth mentioned on PAN.
NOTE: DOB must match with the entered DOB / PAN / Address proof documents.
